The Almost adult

What do you do for a living?

Unfortunately, i haven't found someone to pay me to stay home and make crafts with my dog. after a stint of time spent in medical software, I spent a good chunk of time intentionally unemployed; following my bliss, teaching indoor cycling classes, and figuring out where my passion lies. i'm now a sales account manager for an education distributor. i get to work with some pretty cool peeps and travel to some even cooler places. life is good. 

What made you decide to start "the almost adult?"

i literally did what people tell you not to do: i quit my day job.  during my month of "fun"-employment i realized i've learned a lot, and nothing at all, since i graduated college.  i decided i may have some wisdom & advice to share - and i selfishly wanted to know i wasn't alone.

but you're not a writer. what makes you think people care what you have to say?

what makes you think that people care what writers have to say?  no,in all seriousness, people may not care what i have to say, but i don't believe that's a reason to stop doing something that makes you happy.  if two people decide they're crazy & bored enough to follow my blog, i'll call that a success.

do you post a ton of personal stuff?

all opinions and thoughts are originally and personally mine.  but no, this isn't a "dear diary" blog or a place to vent about my boyfriend putting laundry detergent in the fabirc softerner hole (which he did, bless him).  sure, some personal mumbo jumbo will get mixed in with my daily scribbles - but i don't want to subject my readers or my people to a public airing of my dirty laundry.
